I created (along with my daughters) Turquoise Thunder to build an Indigenous-led space that expands access to lacrosse and empowers young women from all walks of life. My focus is reaching youth who are often overlooked or face barriers to participation, and honoring the medicine game to create confidence, belonging, and opportunity.
I am committed to lifting the next generation through this beautiful, powerful medicine game (lacrosse), which I experience as magic.

Isabella is Oglala and a citizen of the Ho-Chunk Nation. At 25, she brings both high-level playing experience and a deep cultural connection to the game. She attended Northwestern University in Chicago, where she continued to grow as both an athlete and leader.
Her lacrosse journey includes one season with Bosque and three seasons with the Scorpions. She has also played traditional Ojibwe lacrosse in Chicago—an experience that strengthened her connection to the Indigenous roots and spirit of the game.
In 2021, Isabella served as the full-time head coach at Bosque. She is passionate about developing players both on and off the field—building confidence, strengthening skills, and inspiring a lifelong love for lacrosse.
